Max

Well, today was a rough day with Max. I saddled him up again, (the second time in a year), and rode him in the yard like once around. Then, I decided to lead him down the trail. I made it about half a mile down (with some difficulty), and then he ripped the lead rope out of my hands and galloped all the way back. When I finally got back, I decided to try it again. We pretty much walked in circles for about a mile, I got really mad at him, and he took off again! When I got back...Again, I led him down the lane and when he was "good" (not really), we turned around and came back. After all that, I was crazy enough to ride him. He was a bit tired, so I didn't have too much difficulty getting him to the trail. He didn't like the trail too much, but he was, for the most part, obedient. Finally, I showed him who was boss, and we ended the day on a good note.
