My Sweet Joy
Today I was able to ride Joy today, it was so much fun! I have been wanting to ride her for so long! I am glad I got to have the chance for a small one today, since the ice has melted.
Joy's history is quite interesting...Here is what I know of it: When Joy was younger, she used to be a cart race horse....After that, she was given to the Amish. I am not sure how long they had her, but then they thought she was to slow to go the distances they wanted her to go. She was going to be sent to the glue or dog food factory, but my great uncle who worked with horses rescued her and gave Joy to us. I am not sure where the name came from, but it fits her PERFECTLY! She is a dream to ride. Here are some pictures I took the other day.
